Since 2017, under my patented brand “360 Degrees Diabetes”, I have been providing support and counseling to children and adults with diabetes and their families on “adaptation in life with diabetes”. In order to raise awareness about diabetes, I produce my program on various television channels and host expert health professionals in these programs. On the other hand, I give lectures at Bahçeşehir University and try to provide information and tips on “living comfortably with diabetes” in my speeches at institutions and hospitals.

For the first time in Turkey, I created the “Coaching Program for People Working with Diabetes” Program. This program is approved by the International Coaching Federation ICF (CCE) and consists of 12 hours.

In addition to my MBA at Istanbul Bilgi University, I also completed a master’s degree in “Healthy Life Consultancy” at Bahçeşehir University. Since 2010, while continuing my professional life, I have received trainings in many applicable areas of coaching. (Basic coaching skills, Professional life coaching-ICF, life coaching with diabetes, relationship coaching, corporate executive coaching, NLP coaching, marketing of coaching).

In 2020, I completed the “Gestalt Therapy Practitioner Training Program” under Hanna Nita Scherler and “Health Coaching” training at Oxford Learning College. “Points of You” and Mindfulness stress reduction programs based on the principle of phototherapy helped me enrich my coaching skills.

I am also a member of the International Coaching Federation and the Association of Expert Coaches. I have the ICF approved ACC “Associate Certified Coach” title.

My Diabetes History

I was 14 years old when I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. I lost weight rapidly. The water I drank was not enough for me. I spent 1 week under control at the Harbiye Diabetes Society. I remember taking it very calmly and even taking the first insulin myself, with the nurse showing me how to do it. A new way of life was waiting for me. During that period, I spent my weekends taking an active role in group meetings and organizations with diabetics. I attended diabetes camps on my own for years in the summers. The trainings I received there, carbohydrate calculations, and the experiences I had added a lot of value to me in managing diabetes. ‘I chose to be friends with my diabetes, which I encountered during a turbulent and difficult period like adolescence.

In addition to the injection method, I also experienced the insulin pump for 5 years with the decision I made with my doctor in my treatment plan. Despite my diabetes, I have traveled extensively in Turkey and abroad with health and pleasure. Having completed 26 years, I would like to share my experiences with you and grow stronger and stronger together on this path.
